Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about where we work, what we do and how to get hold of us.
Where are you based?
In Yeadon, Leeds LS19, on the north-west side of the city near Leeds Bradford Airport.
What areas do you cover?
Up to 25 miles from Yeadon. That includes Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, and reaches York, Ripon, Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield. The areas page lists every town.
Are you open 24 hours?
Yes. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, and emergency repairs are one of the services on our vans.
What roofing work do you do?
New roofs and re-roofs, roof repairs, fascias, soffits and guttering, chimney work, insulation upgrades and damp proofing. Each one has its own page under services.
Do you do flat roofs?
Yes. There's a flat roof we re-covered on our work page, with a before and after you can drag to compare.
Do you fit dry verge and dry ridge?
Yes. Dry verge and dry ridge are listed on our vans. They're fixed mechanically instead of bedded in mortar, so there's no mortar to crack and fall out.
Can you repair a roof rather than replace it?
Often, yes. Slipped and broken tiles, loose ridge and verge, and leaks around chimneys and roof windows can usually be repaired. If a roof needs replacing, we'll explain why.
How many people are in the team?
Six, which is enough to take on a full re-roof as well as the smaller repairs.
How do I get a quote?
Call 07438 327501, send a WhatsApp, or fill in the form on the contact page. The form opens WhatsApp with your details already filled in.
What should I tell you when I get in touch?
What the problem is, where on the roof, your town or postcode, and how soon you need it done. If you can, take a picture of the problem from the ground.
Do you do guttering on its own?
Yes. New gutters and downpipes, leaking joints and blocked or overflowing gutters are all part of our fascias, soffits and guttering work.
Can damp inside be caused by the roof?
It can. Leaking gutters, failed flashing and cracked chimneys can all let water into walls and ceilings, which is why our damp proofing starts with finding where the water is getting in.
